Based on the slogan "The iPhone in the Sea!", this product aims to enhance marine navigation. The "Navigation Map of the Sea" employs GPS technology to determine the user's current position, heading towards a destination, and approximate distance. It serves as a valuable tool for marine navigation by offering insights into fuel estimation.

Even in areas with no radio signal, the application provides map data (Y Charts) that helps users ascertain both their current location and intended destination. While not specifically tailored for small boats such as jet skis and motorboats, it can still be utilized effectively under certain conditions. Users are advised to maintain their iPhones in waterproof cases (available separately) when on the water. In coastal regions, mobile signals can enhance GPS accuracy, which is beneficial in emergencies requiring quick rescue responses. This app is developed in accordance with Coast Guard Authorization number 222 505 and complies with regulations outlined in Business Law Article 25 related to maritime operations. It has been created in partnership with the Japan Hydrographic Association, utilizing the latest resources like "for example - motorboat yacht (Y Chart)."

Users can access information that confirms their vessel's position while sailing. For detailed navigation needs, appropriate charts should be referenced, specifically employing "Datum World" for data accuracy.

The "Map of the Sea Navigation (Select 1)" series comprises 45 distinct maps. Individuals are encouraged to refer to resources such as the Hydrographic Association's website or "Internet shopping chart" for verification of map availability. Hardcopy maps are also available through similar channels.

All content and maps provided are intended solely for reference purposes. The developers disclaim any responsibility for accidents occurring while using this application.

Although GPS usage is prevalent among commercial vessels, it remains uncommon in recreational boating contexts such as jet skis, which raises concerns regarding safety. The aim is to contribute positively towards reducing accident rates within Japan's maritime activities.
